In Winter 2009 Social Leadership Australia introduced The Conversation Series, four evenings created exclusively for alumni of the Sydney Leadership Program and Rural Leadership Program to come together in a learning space for discussion and connection. Aimed at increasing capacity to drive social change, each three hour session is facilitated by a different SLA program director, incorporating new techniques and processes used in the SLA program delivery. In 2010 a series of Alumni initiated events have been implemented through SLA's new Community Manager, Christopher Saunders. The aim is to create new opportunities for SLA Alumni to get together and share stories, ideas and experiences of exercising social leadership. Also in development for the SLA Alumni is a new online community designed to facilitate ongoing networking, shared ideas and information and project development.
