Real leadership. Real progress

Alice CahillSocial Leadership Australia is a specialist not-for-profit consultancy established by The Benevolent Society to develop leaders with the skills, capacity and determination to achieve lasting positive social outcomes Australia-wide.

We have a strong track record of creating and delivering innovative leadership development programs for individuals and organisations across the corporate, government and not-for-profit sectors.

What we do

We offer open enrolment programs for individuals including our flagship Sydney Leadership program (est 1999) and our inaugural Queensland Leadership program (est 2009) as well as our four day Introduction to Adaptive Leadership program.

We work with diverse organisations to develop and deliver customised programs that build their internal leadership capacity — helping them to manage complex change and make positive social contributions.

We also engage with specific communities of interest to develop partnerships that will lead to progress in tackling entrenched social issues, such as our current Headland project for emerging Indigenous leaders.

Our leadership model

Social Leadership Australia uses the adaptive leadership model developed Heifetz et al at the Harvard University of School of Government as the basis for all its programs.
