To search or not to search?
People have different motivations for searching for their birth parents. Often curiosity turns to action at particular times in adult life, for example, after leaving home, getting married, the birth of a child or the death of a parent.
If you decide to search, set your own pace and allow yourself time to absorb new information and assimilate new feelings. Some search experiences can be quite quick. For a minority it can be long and frustrating.
